Fundación del Valle launches a pioneering training program to boost micro-enterprises with social impact

Programa de formación

Madrid, July 2025 — Fundación del Valle, in partnership with Linares Abogados, with technical support from ACTEC and co-financing from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), is launching the training program “Business acceleration with social impact: models and tools for productive inclusion and innovation in Spanish Cooperation”.

The initiative is aimed at key stakeholders in economic development and international cooperation, with the objective of strengthening support ecosystems for micro-enterprises from an inter-institutional perspective. The training is specifically designed for technical and management teams from Spanish Cooperation, public institutions, business networks, NGOs, and universities.

The program is based on the MBA Acelera model, an innovative solution promoted by ACTEC together with its partners in Latin America. This model combines training, technical support, impact measurement, and networking to support micro-enterprises led by vulnerable populations. In more than a decade of implementation, it has contributed significantly to the generation of formal employment, increased income, and the consolidation of local economic ecosystems.

Training sessions delivered by international experts and partner entities successfully implementing the model in Colombia, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

“This program is a unique opportunity to renew our perspective on economic development through social innovation and a commitment to a truly inclusive economic recovery,” says Belén Valenzuela, Director of Cooperation at Fundación del Valle.

Participation in the program is free for selected individuals and is part of the scaling strategy for the Business Schools for Micro-enterprises (BSM) model and the MBA Acelera program, which has already benefited more than 16,000 entrepreneurs in five countries.
